Medical Microbiology and Genetics
Vhangani is an undergraduate student at the University Pretoria, studying BSc Medical Microbiology and Genetics. Her interest in science was sharpened as she gained insight into the possibilities of biotechnology. From her area, many view science as unethical and unnecessary, manipulating nature, therefore, terming it as 'Modern Witchcraft’.
According to Vhangani, one day along the years, we might find ourselves in situations, where scientific-related solutions are the only solution. If they fall into the wrong hands, though, we might experience its horrific effects, hence, what makes science safer is studying about it and knowing its implications.
